Wedge gate valves

Wedge gate valve is named because its sealing surface forms a certain angle with the vertical centerline, that is, the two sealing surfaces form a wedge shape. Generally, for a gate valve with two sealing surfaces in a wedge shape, the angle between the sealing surface and the vertical centerline is 2°52’, 3°30’, 5°, 8°, 10°, etc. Wedge gate valves are divided into rising stem gate valves and concealed stem gate valves, wedge-shaped single gate valves and wedge-shaped double gate valves.
